We can stay there at the bottom until we drown. Or we can gather pearls and rise back up, stronger from the swim, and richer from the jewels. - Yasmin Mogahed

Urgent: All about the kids
My immediate attention is study revisions; Insyirah preparing for SA2 and Omera preparing for self-achievement test.
I'm always trying my best to be fair to the kids but I always find myself being one-sided. This is not good.
At 2, Insyirah has recited and recognised all her alphabets and numbers 1 to 20.
Omera, 3 next month, although could recite all the alphabets and numbers 1 to 20, has yet to recognise them well enough. I am worried.
I know I shouldn't be making comparisons at such a young age, but a part of me feels guilty for not being able to spend as much time as I had with Insyirah during Omera's infancy. I was already holding my current job before I gave birth to Omera whereas I was only a part-time tutor when I had Insyirah. Hence, I could spend more time watching educational videos, playing educational games and interacting with Insyirah as part of my brain stimulation program for my kid.
It's not that I did not do the same for Omera, I thought I should have done more.
I realise Omera is playful and she has very minimal attention span. Insyirah, although she had the luxury of toys, tend to be more attentive.
I'm making comparison again.
October is coming. Although I am not too worried about Insyirah sitting for her SA2, I must make sure Insyirah knows everything she learnt in school and beyond that at her fingertips. She has been performing very well in school thus far. My expectation of her achievement is high.
October is coming. It would be Omera's birthday on the 27th. I must make sure she recognises all her alphabets and numbers 1 to 20 by her birthday.
Mission starts with immediate effect.

Come back
Hi,
I haven't been writing for almost 2 months. I hope to start again on a regular basis.

Forbidden feeling
Forbidden feeling. Crazy thoughts. Can't get enough of it.
It's not normal but it seems natural.
Not that simple. It's sure getting complicated.

Michael Jackson catches fire 1984 Pepsi commercial
ET online
July 15, 2009 10:07:00 PM
Horrifying footage has surfaced of Michael Jackson's accident on the set of a Pepsi commercial in 1984. Watch as for ten, terrifying seconds Michael is on fire.
US Weekly obtained the footage of the King of Pop's hair bursting into flames after the pyrotechnics for the production went off too early. In the video, Jackson initially doesn't seem to know he's on fire, dancing across the stage normally.
Once he realizes his head is on fire, he frantically spins in circles and takes off his jacket to fend off the flames. People then rush the musician to help put out the fire that leaves Jackson with a bald patch.
Michael suffered second and third degree burns from the accident. It was later reported that the music legend donated his $1.5 million settlement with Pepsi to the Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, California where he was treated.
For more shocking pics of the Pepsi commercial accident, check out the latest issue of US Weekly, on newsstands Friday, July 17.
